General Dental Practitioner/Sleep Expert
Dr Charlotte Leigh has a dedicated interest in Dental Sleep Medicine, providing personalised treatment for adults with snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea using evidence-based oral appliance therapy.
After graduating from the Leeds Dental Institute, University of Leeds, Charlotte completed an MSc in Restorative Dental Practice with Distinction at the Eastman Dental Hospital. She subsequently undertook hospital training as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Luton and Dunstable Hospital, where she also provided on-call and ward cover during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Sleep Medicine, and her research into the role of dentistry in managing snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea was published in the British Dental Journal. Charlotte also lectures for the Royal College of Surgeons, helping to educate clinicians and promote best practice in dental sleep medicine.
Charlotte works collaboratively with GPs, ENT specialists and sleep physicians to provide comprehensive assessment and personalised treatment. She welcomes both self-referrals and referrals from healthcare professionals seeking a multidisciplinary approach to managing snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
